Meet Specter!

As of 11/19/24 this handsome little dude continues to be fostered at casa de ARWOB where he shares the home with other arwob dogs and cats. He is a FANTASTIC puppy! Sometimes I forget he is only 3 months old not yet 4 months. An occasional old soul. Specter just goes with the flow like the young kid hanging around the cool teenagers just following their lead. He is the only young pup and his dog friends are Cici, Mocha, Benji, Patrick and Lucy. His cat friends are Neeko, Newt and Chester also available for adoption. He is very sweet and gentle with the cats, sometimes playful too.

Specter is great in the crate, excellent bladder on this sweet dude and although we can''t say he is potty and house trained because he is so young as long as he has access to the outside yard or frequent outtings for the opportunity to go potty he is pretty good and not have accidents. He will be teething soon so we are sure he will be chewing furniture if not crated or properly supervised. He LOVES toys like all puppies squeaker, plush, hard plastic and anything to chew on like benabones.

He also is a great car copilot and enjoys being lifted into the car for a ride. He goes to our neighborhood dog park 3-4 times a week and EVERYONE loves him, we have to be careful no one takes him home ha ha

Spector is a healthy sturdy fully vetted pup READY to go home and we hope an amazing family chooses him soon before the Holidays. He is such an amazing puppy. Loving, gentle, smart and goofy. As of 11/19 he is not yet 20 pounds and not yet 4months. He has labrador eyes/ear/face BUT we do not know what breed he trully is being a baja super mutt rescued from the streets of Ensenada Mexico when he was just 2 months old. The rest of his siblings have been adopted and all were tan and black shepherd looking pups but we think Spector looks more laby houndy......Oh and he has the CUTEST little 'rroooo woof' when he is trying to say someting, its too adorable. Check out his videos online at ARWOB.org and fill an adoption application for him to schedule a meet and greet. Adoptions can be the next day if adopters are ready to adopt/ The adoption process can be fast or slow, its really applicant dependent, however, we do NOT place holds on rescues so please do NOT submit an application if you are not ready to adopt within a week of submission. Thank you

More about this rescue

The A.R.W.O.B. group is based in San Diego, CA and operates mostly in Mexico as well as Southern California and will come to the aid of any animal in need which crosses our path. Our belief is to do what we can in order to “Make a difference in their lives.” From experience we have observed and feel the companion animals of Mexico are in the greatest need and accordingly we focus much of our efforts in Baja, Mexico. However, we certainly extend our help to our north of the border critters by accepting relinquished family pets, exiting both dogs and cats from the shelters of San Diego and of course by working in conjunction with other animal rescue groups in the community

Visit our website www.ARWOB.org to learn more about us.
