You gotta meet Teaberry!

I may be biased writting this biography but honestly after fostering thousands of kitties through decades I have to say this handsome dude is one 'cool cat' aside from being a handsome cat he is a VERY chill, calm, cool and collected type personality. He observes and thinks. He is not your typical rough player, for all those who prefer female cats for X Y and Z reasons, Teaberry is really the exception. He is a gentle soul. In truth he was a little more gentle before he landed at casa de ARWOB where he is fostered along other arwob cats and a couple of them are rought players so he has to keep his defenses up for when they try to bother him, he will tell them to back off because he wants NO part of their 'macho' boy personalities. The only time I have seen Teaberry be grumpy is when he is in the hallways and all the cats or dogs are walking by for feeding time, Teaberry is a FOODIE big time so please, feed him at his scheduled time ha ha!

Teaberry is perfect around dogs and cats, not bothered and not trying to make any waves but he needs a home where the other cats will also be friendly and not try to pick on him. As of 10/2/24 his sister Teapot who is also a SWEETHEART is on a foster to adopt trial. She is more a people cat than cat cat, but she was happy around teaberry around her. In case you are looking to adopt 2 kitty friends, make sure to check the status of teapot in case she is not adopted by her foster to adopt trial home in October. For now, Teaberry would be well incorporated into a home with other pets, BUT he would also be very happy as an only cat. If you are looking to be a SINGLE cat owner or have dogs in the home Teaberry would be a great match as well. We typically prefer cats to be in a home with other cat friends BUT Teapot and Teaberry are very people oriented and would be happy as long as people provide a good amount of companionship and all the toys they can get. 

Teaberry is a VERY quiet cat, you won't hear him chatter unless he is feeling feisty and wanting some attention by calling for you  OR its time for his meals. His demeanor is just very easy going. Except when there is food involved, again, he can be a stealthy ninja when it comes to humans food too. So, if you get annoyed at cats trying to eat your food then you need to from the start incorporate boundries or outsmart him by not leaving your plate unsupervised or bagel in the toaster....you get the point. He is gentle but he will try. He has excellent litter box manners and would likely be a great cat around children because of his 'nothing faces' him personality. 

He loves to play with toys and I believe in a different environment with less feline personalities he likely would play around MORE. He enjoys his naps and looking out the windows for fresh air.

This healthy and UTD on all medical (felv/fiv kitty) is READY to be adopted and to schedule a meet and greet in the fashion valley area please submit an adoption application online at ARWOB.org once your application is received we will schedule a call within 24 hours to start the adoption process which can take 48-72 hrs 

Please, DO NOT apply to adopt if you don't have landlord written approval(or are working on it), have a problem with a home check and are not ready to adopt within a week of submitting your application should it be approved to adopt. Thank you
