Meet 58lb, Dakota!

Sadly Dakotas dad very recently passed away and this sweet girl is looking for a family to love her like her dad did.

Dakota is house trained, crate trained, a certified couch hog and snuggle bug. She’s dog friendly (big/small/m/f) but previously lived as an only dog so we think she would be just fine as an only child again. For 8.5 years old she’s still got lots of pep in her step and definitely enjoys running around the yard before her afternoon catnap. She’s very affectionate and takes treats gently. We recommend a home without young children and she’s untested with cats.

Mommy & Me Animal Care will offer free vacation boarding for Dakota.

More about this rescue

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times. G.R.A.S.P., Inc. is a non-profit organization and is completely dependent upon donations from the public.
