Here's what the humans have to say about me:
There is no better companion than a lovable cat!....(said every cat person)
**The Purrfect Companion Cat**Tabitha is an adult calico cat with a heart full of love and a knack for making biscuits on any soft surface she can find, including your lap, which she adores. At just under 3 years old, she's as gentle and affectionate as they come, with a personality that's both calm and incredibly engaging. Tabitha enjoys a good snuggle session as much as she loves exploring her surroundings. She was found as a stray 10/18/24 with an unregistered microchip.
**Why Tabitha Could Be Your Perfect Match:**
- **Companionship:** Tabitha thrives on companionship. She's looking for a home where she can be the beloved family member she deserves to be.
- **Special Skills:** Her favorite pastime is making biscuits - kneading with her paws - which is not only adorable but also a sign of her contentment and happiness.
**What Tabitha Needs:**
- A quiet, indoor only home where she can feel safe and loved.
- Soft places to nap and knead (blankets, cushions, or your lap!).
- Regular meals and check-ups to keep her healthy.
- Someone to talk to; she might not respond in words, but she listens and purrs.
INDOOR ONLY!
Fully vetted (or will be) and chipped. $40 adoption fee for this special girl. 423-436-2900 or email info@monroecountyfriendsofanimals.org

More about this shelter
A not-for-profit organization, Monroe County Friends of Animals help the County by raising funds to build a new facility for our animals. It is called the Eastbourne Animal Center and has now replaced the old Monroe County Animal Shelter. They provide volunteers, fundraising events, grant writing and more. There is always a need for more volunteers. With a small budget, donations are a welcome necessity. We have developed educational programs to promote spay/neuter and humane care of all animals.
