Thingamajig (or Jiggy) is a 10 month old Cairn Terrier x Yorkie mix ready to bring a lifetime of laughter and smiles to her forever home! Jiggy was surrendered to one of the shelters we partner with through no fault of her own. Unfortunately, some people don’t understand that a dog is a lifetime commitment. We scooped this silly gal up and promised to find her perfect second chapter! Jiggy currently weighs around 12 pounds and we expect she will remain under 15 pounds when fully grown. She’s the perfect pint-sized cutie pie to bring on all the adventures you have planned. If you’re ready to learn a new dance with an adorable partner, come meet Jiggy!

Jiggy is a goofy little gal who can’t wait to make your life 12 pounds cuter! She is a little athlete who can’t wait for the 2028 LA Olympics so she can show off her bunny hop routine. She keeps her foster family laughing for hours with her acrobatic routines and her adorable smiling face. Jiggy absolutely adores her people and is the cutest little Velcro puppy ever! She will faithfully follow you from room to room or from adventure to adventure. This girl may be petite but she has an endless desire to take on all the activities the world has in store for her. Whether you want a buddy for a coffee run, a trip to the park, or a movie night pal, Jiggy is ready to check off all those boxes. She’s also a perfect little space heater, which is perfect for those cooler nights up ahead. With her little bat ears and her soft fur, you’ll want to pet her for hours at a time, and she can’t imagine a better way to spend an evening!

Jiggy wakes up at 6 AM when her foster family starts their days. She heads outside with the resident dogs for her morning business. As she waits for breakfast, she zooms around the house chasing her foster siblings. She eats her morning meal around 7 AM and then heads out on her morning stroll. She greets the day with a smile on her face and loves her romps. She returns home and settles in for a daily routine of naps, playing, cuddles, and snacks. Jiggy has a snack around noon and eats again at 6:30 PM. She goes out on an evening walk once the workday ends and then she hops up on the couch for some TV time and cuddles. She goes out for one last potty around 8 PM and then goes into her crate for the night at 10 PM.

Jiggy lives with two dogs currently and is super sociable with dogs she’s met. She’s a great option for homes with or without resident dogs. Jiggy walks well on a leash and is polite when she greets new friends, both human and canine while on her walks. Jiggy is crate trained and is working on her potty training skills. This adorable gal promises to change your life once you meet her! Come do a little jig with Jiggy today!

Jiggy is an option for homes with prior dog experience, even if that experience is less recent. Kids in the home should be over the age of 7.

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
