Pappy is, what we call in rescue, a “very good boy!” He is young; estimated to be between 1-2 years old. He weighs 45-50 pounds and we believe he is a red Border Collie/ Great Pyrenees mix. This is an educated guess, based on his coloring and double back do claws, so Great Pyrenees mix is very likely. Pappy is has interacted favorably with many other dogs in rescue. He is friendly with dogs and super friendly with people! He has a gentle nature and is affectionate. He will be a fun and easy addition to any active family or individual wanting to add a 4-legged companion who will be an eager partner in crime and a constant source of unconditional love. Once approved, transport will be arranged with Rescue Riders LLC at the first available date. Adoption fees are to be paid in advance and include the cost of transport.

We are an all volunteer animal welfare organization and foster based rescue located in Cumberland County TN. We work tirelessly to help as many stray, abandoned and injured pets as possible and find them new, loving homes.
Any pet transported out of state to a pre-approved adopter will be transported via Rescue Riders LLC, a leader in professional pet transport.
Our pets are fully vetted and will have a health certificate issued by a vet within two weeks of transport.
Once an application is approved, you will be contacted with the details of transport and pick up time and location.
