Mocha is a 10 year-old, 8 pound, neutered Chihuahua. Mocha and his sister, Leila, sadly lost their momma recently and their grandma was not able to care for them long-term. Leila and Mocha are a bonded pair and will be adopted out to the right home together.

Mocha is the cuddle-bug of the two. Hs favorite place is snuggled on a lap or even tucked into a sweatshirt pocket!

Both Leila and Mocha do great on their walks and in the car. Mocha is definitely the homebody of the pair, always ready to head back home to a soft bed and a snuggle.

Mocha is schedule for his dental surgery and will be ready for a forever home very soon!

Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.

Are you interested in meeting one of our available animals? Please fill out the appropriate online application on our website. We will be in contact with you to arrange a meeting with the rescue pet you are interested in.

Please note that all of our rescue pets are in private foster homes and meetings will be coordinated with foster parents. Typically, after you meet the rescue pet, we will follow up with you to see how the meeting went. If a match is made, we can finalize the adoption quickly. Please note that we may require a home check as part of the application process. Thank you for your interest in our rescue pets!

Adoption fees are between $100 - $400 depending on animal, breed, age.

We operate Pup Plaza (www.pupplaza.org), Silicon Valley's first dog community center where we have monthly adoption events. If you are interested in meeting one of our adoptable dogs at Pup Plaza, please contact adoptions@svpetproject.org.

Cats and dogs are in foster care with volunteers. After completing an application, a meet and greet can be arranged.
