Hi there, potential new family! My name’s Wingnut, and I’m a 5-month-old pup with a mix of Boston Terrier and Dachshund in my genes—or at least that’s what they tell me! My foster mom thinks I look like a Rat Terrier, and I’m fine with that—I think it makes me extra special!
I’ve had a bit of a bumpy start to life, and it’s left me feeling a little shy and fearful when I meet new people or find myself in new situations. But I know the right family is out there for me who will understand that I might need some extra time to warm up and be myself. Please don’t let that worry you, once I warm up and trust you, I blossom into a friendly, playful companion who just wants to be your best buddy.
I’ve recently discovered the joy of fetch, and let me tell you, I could play forever! I love nothing more than chasing after a toy and bringing it back to my human. When I’m not playing, I’m all about the cuddles. I love being held and snuggled, soaking up all the love and affection I can get.
I recently was neutered and I’m learning to walk on a leash. I’m really proud of how well I sleep in my crate at night! I’m also working hard on my house training, and I’m making progress each day. Just like with new people, I need a slow introduction to new pets. A little patience goes a long way in helping me feel safe and secure.
If you’re looking for a playful, cuddly friend who’s eager to learn and grow with you, I’m your guy! With your love and patience, I know I’ll become the happy, confident pup I’m meant to be. Could you be the forever family I’m dreaming of? Let’s find out together—I can’t wait to meet you! Fill out an application at: https://bit.ly/
