My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tilly, a stunning silver beauty, who is as soft as a cloud.

Tilly has a personality as unique as her silky fur. This beautiful cat loves her quiet moments of affection, where she'll curl up next to you and purr loudly enjoying the warmth of your company. However, Tilly also has a bit of a diva side-she knows what she likes and isn't afraid to let you know when she's had enough!

Tilly will thrive in a calm, patient home where she can be her true self. While she may need a little time to warm up, once she trust you, she'll reward you with love, loyalty, and the occasional playtime burst of energy!

Tilly is best suited for a household without small children, where her boundaries will be respected. She'll be the perfect companion for someone who understands that even the most independent cats still want love-just on their own terms.

If you are looking for the softest cat with a side of sass, Tilly might just be your perfect match!

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
