Greetings, human! My name is King, and I am happy to be your King! I am a 4 month old boy kitty with a soft coat of black fur. Feel free to bow down in genuflection if you are so moved at the sight of my royal grace. I am currently ensconced in the height of shelter luxury, a silver room with a soft towel and silver bowl of water. But I know there is more to my kingdom than this mere shelter; I aspire to rule a castle. Preferably, the home that is currently YOUR castle, but which will become mine once you bring me home. So hurry, my subjects, and bring me to my rightful abode!

The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
