Hey there! I'm Finn, a 5-year-old Border Collie, and I'm here to show you just how incredible life can be with a smart and active pup like me! I'm the quintessential Border Collie-curious, energetic, and always on the lookout for ways to engage my brain. Whether it's playing fetch, solving puzzles, or going for long walks, I'm ready for action! Just a heads-up: I can jump a 6-foot fence, so I'll need a secure yard and an active lifestyle to keep me happy and safe. I absolutely love people and do great on a leash, making walks a joy for both of us. I'm a good boy who's ready to find a dedicated family that understands my needs for exercise and mental stimulation. If you're up for some fun adventures and lots of love, I can't wait to meet you! I'm neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. Come to Woods in SLO to meet me any day from 12-4 PM!

More about this shelter
Woods Humane Society, Inc. is a nonprofit, privately funded organization dedicated to the humane care of unwanted animals in San Luis Obispo County. Our Staff, volunteers, and board of directors are dedicated to upholding our Mission and preserving the welfare of our present and future animals.
While we cooperate with the State Humane Association of California, the American Humane Association, and The Humane Society of the United States, Woods does not receive financial support from them. Only 20% of our revenues to care for the animals are generated by service fees, the other 80% is generated from fund-raising events, grants, wills, and mainly community donations.
Woods Humane Society is proud to be a leader among the nation’s humane organizations. Thanks to loyal and broad-based community support, and the diligent efforts of our dedicated staff and volunteers, Woods placement rate averages 97%, an outstanding achievement.
None of this work could be completed without the incredible support of our community and our wonderful volunteers.
