Hi, I'm Klaus, a sweet 3-year-old pup with a huge heart! I love playing fetch and snuggling up in your arms-I'm a total love bug. In my foster home they had this to say about me: Klaus's personality is human orientated and eager to please. He is attentive and delight to be with, motivated by attention. Klaus is very good on leash. Klaus was amazing in foster care! He was quiet, watchful and polite. He nuzzled me with his nose when he wanted something. I received the paw as a show of love. When he needed to go outside he ran for the front door, sat down and waited on leash. Getting a leash on him was a breeze. At the shelter he comes across as high energy but was mellow as soon as he got in the car. He loves riding in the front seat. He loves to snuggle
Klaus would do best in a home with: -Children over 10
Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 51 Age: 3yrs 1mths 2wks

More about this shelter
Kitsap Humane Society is a private, nonprofit animal shelter. We rescue and rehome over 6000 pets each year. Every dog or cat leaves our shelter spayed or neutered and with complete vaccines and a microchip. We have been caring for animals in need since 1908 and envision a time when all adoptable pets have loving homes.
We are extremely proud of our exceptionally high “lives saved” rate of over 96%. Through our active adoption, behavior, foster, transfer, and veterinary programs, we are able to rehome every adoptable animal that enters our facility. No animal is ever euthanized for lack of space.
In addition to caring for and adopting animals, we also provide spay/neuter services to low income residents of Kitsap County, and provide Animal Rescue and Enforcement services to our surrounding municipalities.
