This little thing is Pixie.

Pixie is a young dog that is only about 8-9lbs. She was rescued from spending her final moments in a high kill shelter. What the shelter didn't know was that she was carrying 5 babies inside of her little body, to which the stress of the shelter caused her to prematurely give birth to 2 babies, stillborn. She was rushed to the vet where they had to abort the other 3 babies to avoid further stress on her body. You can only imagine all that she's been through in the last couple of weeks.

Pixie is the sweetest girl ever. She finds comfort in your lap and receiving affection. She gets along great with other dogs. Her ideal home will be patient with her as she decompresses to show how amazing of a dog she is.
