My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes: Meet Gazpacho, the absolute gem of the feline world! This calm and gentle fellow arrived at my apartment and settled in within the first hour. He's a loving companion, purring every time he sees you and enjoying your company whether you're working from home or relaxing with a Netflix movie. Gazpacho is a litterbox champion and loves soaking up the morning sun before his mid-morning nap. He's the most perfectly mannered cat, not finicky about his food and happy to be by your side or give you some space when needed. With his repertoire of cute meows and friendly sounds, he keeps you amused throughout the day yet he's not excessively vocal. Gazpacho is incredibly easy to handle and a joy to have in the home. With all he has to offer, dare I say he's purrfect?

A volunteer writes:
Gazpacho has kept his beautiful tiger look through the years. His coat is lush, silky to the touch and he still has the tomcat cheeks of his youth. Gazpacho is a calm senior who always will interrupt his rest to meet a visitor. He is mostly looking for companionship although he does like treats and will occasionally and briefly tackle a feather wand or play with a catnip mouse. He is a zen cat with gentle eyes who relishes petting and gives back, leaning into pets, making biscuits and purring softly. This is the second stay at the care center for Gazpacho, relinquished each time by an ailing owner....Both persons, though, had only great comments to  make about him! Gazpacho...Where is your lucky star? Indeed, at the ripe age of thirteen, sweet Gazpacho needs a safe and stable haven, sprinkled with love, to make his golden years really gold.... Gazpacho aced his behavior evaluation, is already neutered and could go home today!Come and meet him very soon at the Manhattan Care Center.

I am a sweet, social, older gentleman, looking for the perfect forever home!

Gazpacho interacts with the assessor, appreciates & solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience.
