Meet Lady, a gentle, reserved 6 year-old Pomeranian mix who is 10.6 pounds. She is making great progress on house-training by watching and learning from her foster siblings. She’s also crate trained and finds comfort in her safe space. Lady enjoys spending time in the yard, running around the house, and playing with her favorite toys or chewing on bones.
Although she’s shy and timid, Lady loves to be near her people once she feels safe. Sudden noises and loud environments tend to frighten her, so she would do best in a calm, quieter home, ideally another dog to help build her confidence. Due to her fearfulness and lack of leash training, a fenced yard is a must for this sweet girl. She would do best with kids over 10 who respect her space
Her foster parent shares, “Lady loves interacting with other dogs and mimics their behavior, which has really helped with her house-training. While she’s initially skittish around new people, she’ll warm up with time, and soon she’ll be right there for head scratches.”
If you’re looking for a patient, loving companion who just needs a bit of time to trust, Lady might be the perfect fit for your home!
Her minimum adoption fee is $295 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
