My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Shenanigans! This 5-month-old, 24-pound Basset Hound mix is full of joy and puppy energy! Shenanigans is good with kids and while he hasn't been exposed to anyone younger than 8, we expect he'll do fine with any age. He loves playing with other dogs, snuggling in laps, and going for car rides. Though he’s still making progress on housetraining, he does great in his crate but he does love a good snuggle session in bed with his people.

Shenanigans is a goofy, happy boy who brings a lot of laughter to his foster family. From playing tug of war with curtains to hilariously falling off the couch during belly rubs, his playful antics are sure to keep you entertained. He’s a smart pup who’s easily redirected when he gets into typical puppy mischief. He’s happiest when he’s with his humans, snuggling on the couch or sharing a bed.

Shenanigans enjoys exploring and playing, so a fenced yard would be a dream come true for him. He has also embraced his hound dog nature—he can be quite vocal at times, so he’s best suited for a home without shared walls.

Shenanigans is a lovable, playful pup ready to bring joy and laughter to his forever family!  If you're ready for some shenanigans in your life, apply today!

His minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
