My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chase is a friendly German Shepherd looking for a new home.

He loves to play and go for walks. Although he's a bit shy at first, he becomes very affectionate once he gets to know you.

Chase has made friends with other dogs at the shelter, but he may need a proper introduction to new dogs. He's a smart and obedient dog who is eager to learn and please.

Chase would do best in a loving home where he can get attention and exercise. His ideal owner would work from home as well, Chase has some separation anxiety.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Most of our animals need a little "extra" to be successful in a home environment - fill out an app to see if you might be a good fit!

2.

Interview

Depending on your app, we may schedule a phone interview to discuss the particular needs of the animal you applied for.

3.

Home Check

Quick home check to make sure that your place is suitable for their new animal.

4.

Approve Application

After you application is approved, we schedule a time for you to meet the animal.

5.

Take the Pet Home

We require that all of our potential adopters do at least a two week adoption trial period before finalizing.

6.

Sign Adoption Contract

After the trial period, if you decide to finalize the adoption we'll send you the paperwork.

7.

Pay Fee

After the contract is signed and their fee is paid, it's official!

Our support does not end at adoption. We continue to offer donation-based post-adoption services to help the new family. <3
