Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I got Bepo about ~2 years ago as a feral baby kitten (~10 weeks old) from my friend's backyard. He has always been a lot more on the scared/anxious side, which has taken a lot more time and positive reinforcement to get him to open up. He is a pretty curious cat, but gets startled pretty easily. He is a fairly quiet/keep to himself kind of cat that likes his own personal space.
His behavioral/stress issues have only started to develop since I moved to a much smaller living place.
For a new home, I am looking for a home that has plenty of space for him to be/wander around. When he gets startled/stressed, he tends to get territorial and having more open spaces (especially verticality) would help his mood a lot. Another important thing I am looking for is an owner that will have the patience to slowly get him to open up at his pace.
