Clay is a 2 year old male Rottweiler who loves attention and is very affectionate with people he knows. He doesn’t quite understand how big he is, and will try his best to be a lap dog. Clay needs a home that has time to give him the attention and affection that he needs, and has potential to be an amazing companion to an experienced owner.
Clay has gone through a training program and knows basic commands, which he picked up on quickly with daily practice. He’s a great listener when it’s time for homework, or when food is involved. He enjoys practicing commands, though loud or distracting environments can be difficult.
Clay’s foster home prior to his current home had a dog and cat living with him. He was reported to do well with those other pets, but is reactive on-leash towards ones that he doesn’t know.
Clay has given two warning bites to people, but neither broke skin, and took place during what were stressful situations for him.
