Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Drew, an 18 month old, 16 lb, Jack Russel Terrier mix!

He's house and crate trained, and good with kids and other dogs, but shouldn't be in a home with cats. He rarely barks, walks well on a leash, loves attention and snuggling with his people, chewing on bones and sniffing around the yard when outside with his foster family. Drew gets upset when other dogs get near his food or bones. When adopted, he should be fed and given treats and bones completely separately for other pets.

Drew is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $275.

We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period.
