My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Salsa is oh so sweet! The girl will tell you all about it when she needs to. If she's not getting attention, she will let you know. She gets along well with anyone she meets. She has never met a stranger! She is a shy girl sometimes when she is sleepy but all she wants is attention!

Salsa has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and is on heartworm prevention her adoption fee is $325.

This group of 6 pups were abandoned in a park and a teacher with e Vet Med program at a local Prosper HS took them in to help find them homes. They reached out to LHS for assistance getting them vetted and placing them in forever homes, while also working on this wonderful animal care school project!

Puppies are all working on their house training and crate training. Because they are just pups, they will need a home with the time and patience to teach them how to be the best doggies they can be. Because they are a herding breed, they are not recommended to be adopted to homes with small children as they will herd the children instinctively. They do wonderful with cats and dogs and all shapes and sizes.

We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period.
