My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This group of 6 pups were abandoned in a park and a teacher with e Vet Med program at a local Prosper HS took them in to help find them homes. They reached out to LHS for assistance getting them vetted and placing them in forever homes, while also working on this wonderful animal care school project! Biscuit is an affectionate puppy who has an adorable prance to his walk. Check out his photos to see how cute it is!

Puppies are all working on their house training and crate training. Because they are just pups, they will need a home with the time and patience to teach them how to be the best doggies they can be. Because they are a herding breed, they are not recommended to be adopted to homes with small children as they will herd the children instinctively and many miss interpret this as nipping and or aggressive behavior. But in reality, it is what they are bred to do. They do wonderful with cats and dogs and all shapes and sizes.

Biscuit is a wiggle worm. She has a lot of energy and is never wanting to be left out of the fun. She’s a little shy around new people but, when given a chance, she immediately comes out of her shell and is ready to play.

Biscuit is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and on heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $325.

Additional adoption info

Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period.
