This handsome fella is looking for his forever people. He will require someone with knowledge about his breed and who do have some previous dog experience. This guy would love to go on daily leash walks and play fetch in a fully fenced backyard. He enjoys playing with toys and may enjoy the company of another dog in the home. He can go to an adult only home as he can be quite aloof and requires downtime and his space. He will require behaviour consult training as a part of his adoption.
Responds to verbal cues: Yes - `sit` - takes treats gently

Adoptable pets are now available through Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS)

Effective March 1, 2021 AARCS began a pilot to manage pet adoption services for The City of Calgary. The goal is to reduce the time adoptable pets spend sheltered, for the overall welfare of the animals. AARCS has an extensive fostering network, which increases the opportunity for animals to be cared for in homes, instead of shelters, while they wait for their new family. Animal Services will continue to carry out medical and dental care and spay and neuters for adoptable animals before they are transported to AARCS for adoption or fostering. https://aarcs.ca/adoptable-animals/
