My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cider recently came to ARC because her guardian was having landlord issues. Cider adjusted quickly to the sudden change in her life and is no enjoying herself at ARC. She is usually out on the screened enjoying the Florida fresh air and socializing with the other kitten in her house. She is very friendly and loves attention from all – staff, volunteers, and even strangers! She would certainly welcome and enjoy another loving home where she can receive the affection and attention she so deserves.

Why not complete an application today to make an appointment to meet this gently natured kitty? Then you can see for yourself what a terrific, loving addition Cider would make to a home.

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
