My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bugsy, an American Pit Bull terrier with some American Bulldog in the mix brought as a stray to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 10/17. Bugsy weighs 39 pounds and is about 3 years old. When I took him to the yard for his evaluation, he was thrilled to be out in the beautiful sunshiny autumn weather, stretching his legs and enjoying scouting out the interesting smells. He walked very nicely on a leash. He did his business in the yard. Bugsy knows the sit command, loves treats and takes them politely. He has a low-key personality and is well behaved and calm. He has a friendly and gentle nature, and is happy to be petted and loved on. He dreams of a new life in which he will be loved and cared for by his people and allowed to live a cushy inside life with plenty of good food, toys, and a soft doggy bed. He would doubtless enjoy walks, playtime, and enrichment.
