Meet Sami: Your Future Fluffy Companion!
We are currently looking for a home with a fence and another dog in the home to work with Sami's fears.

Sami is a stunning 2-year-old female Samoyed who is ready to start her new life after spending her early years in a puppy mill. While she may be a bit shy at first, this sweet girl is curious and full of love, eager to experience the joys of the outside world. She is a nervous girl and avoidant of people right now.

In her foster home, Sami has begun to blossom. She loves to follow her human fosters from room to room, always observing and learning, though she needs a little time to feel completely at ease. Sami has formed wonderful bonds with her furry foster friends, playing and running in the fenced yard where her beautiful smile lights up the space. The other dogs help show her that people are ok.

Sami is spayed, kennel and house trained, and up-to-date on vaccinations. She has mastered the stairs and is enjoying the freedom of free roam in her foster home. While she's not yet leash trained-finding it a bit intimidating-she thrives with a patient hand and a gentle approach.

Sami will thrive in a forever home with a fenced yard and at least one other furry friend to help her continue to grow and learn. If you're looking for a gorgeous, fluffy companion who will reward your patience with unconditional love and loyalty, Sami is the perfect match for you!

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
