Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Amy has been in a foster home for a few weeks as she was finding shelter life a little stressful. She did very well in her foster home and with time was nicely settling in to her routine and home life. She will be best suited to a home that is adult only and has an active structured lifestyle. Amy has a lot to say to the world especially when she is excited, so no apartments or condo living for her. She will do best with a family that is retired, works from home or is able to take her with them throughout the day. A private training consultation is a requirement with her adoption. Amy is in a foster home and will require a pre booked appoitment through 311.

Go meet their pets
Effective March 1, 2021 AARCS began a pilot to manage pet adoption services for The City of Calgary. The goal is to reduce the time adoptable pets spend sheltered, for the overall welfare of the animals. AARCS has an extensive fostering network, which increases the opportunity for animals to be cared for in homes, instead of shelters, while they wait for their new family. Animal Services will continue to carry out medical and dental care and spay and neuters for adoptable animals before they are transported to AARCS for adoption or fostering. https://aarcs.ca/adoptable-animals/
