Everyone say hi to Leia! 🥰 She is a 3 year old, 45 lb Border Collie. She came to us as a local owner surrender due to her owner's health issues.

She is fully housebroken and crate trained 💪 Her foster says she is a really sweet dog! She knows her obedience, and walks by other people and dogs well. She has joined her foster on some fun outings and has recently started agility training!

She will need a special and patient adopter who understands the herding breed and can be a confident handler. She will do best in a quiet home without young kids as they make her feel nervous. She gets along well with male dog friends 🐕 🐾

Additional adoption info

Each pet that is available for adoption is in a foster home for a minimum of 2 weeks after being rescued. This allows the animal to decompress and show their true personality, which in turn helps us find their best match.
