It's time to meet, Oreo! 💙 Oreo was surrendered and is believed to be around 6 years old. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night. He can bark for a few minutes, but then he's off to sleep 😴! He will also lay down in there while everyone is just hanging out. He's fully potty trained too!!
He enjoys his walks and is learning to walk without pulling and to ignore distractions. He does really well when there are few or no distractions.
Oreo is great with meeting new people and loves kids! He gets the zoomies and runs around and around the foster’s living room! He LOVES belly rubs and will roll on his back for them! 😍🤭 He loves playing fetch, and he knows how to sit, give his paw, and enjoys playing and romping around with his foster siblings! 💙
Oreo's dream furever home will be with someone to go for walks and hikes with, while making memories! 🤗 Furry or human siblings would be good, or Oreo will just love and enjoy being with just you, too! 💙😊
He is dog and kid friendly. He has seen cats outside and is curious but has not been exposed to them yet.
He is really looking forward to forever with you! 🫶 Apply below!

Additional adoption info
Each pet that is available for adoption is in a foster home for a minimum of 2 weeks after being rescued. This allows the animal to decompress and show their true personality, which in turn helps us find their best match.

Periodically we have adoption events around the greater Rochester, NY area; however, we largely rely on the application process to best match people/families with available pets and then set-up a meet and greet to make sure it's a great match before finalizing the adoption.
