Say hello to Gunny! 😊 He is a senior love, around 9 years old and an owner surrender. When he arrived to OFR, he was malnourished. 😥 Foster has been working with him to put on a few pounds.
Gunny is housebroken and crate trained, but not currently using a crate.
He LOVES food and treats! 🥰
Gunny takes a little bit to settle into his new home, but then he is your bestie! 💙
He is the perfect snuggler! His foster says Gunny gets so excited when she gets home. When carried, Gunny will nuzzle his head into her neck. 😍 He is extremely low-key, great in the car and LOVES toys, especially the squeaky ones! 🤗 He's also a fan of lunch dates and pup cups! 🤭💙
Gunny has a neurological disorder which gives him a little wobble. He does not require any assistance or medication for the disorder, just lots of love! 💙 It doesn't hold him back, but hard floors can be a bit tricky. Blankets and runners will help him to move along! 😘 The disorder does prevent him from jumping.
He is dog, cat and kids over 9 friendly, due to his disorder.

Additional adoption info
Each pet that is available for adoption is in a foster home for a minimum of 2 weeks after being rescued. This allows the animal to decompress and show their true personality, which in turn helps us find their best match.

Periodically we have adoption events around the greater Rochester, NY area; however, we largely rely on the application process to best match people/families with available pets and then set-up a meet and greet to make sure it's a great match before finalizing the adoption.
