My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***** Lady has some special needs and is looking for a special home so she is a member of our Lonely Hearts Club and her adoption fee has been reduced to $325. *****

Hi, I’m Lady, and if you’re looking for true nobility – look no further! I am a 7-month-old lab mix hailing from the esteemed shelters of Dane County. My elegant, soft coat and soulful eyes have captured the hearts of many, yet my royal longing for a new castle remains. I am well-educated, having mastered the respected crate and am dutifully studying the art of potty training. As any nobility, I do have my preferences: I require a kingdom with only humans over teen age, and no cats or critters – I fear I will chase them off my domain. Whether engaging in merry games of fetch or curling up beside you for cuddles, I believe my magnetism is sure to bring joy to your household. Please inquire with my loyal servants in the adoption center about me!

Medical history: Lady has had a surgery called distal ulnar osteotomy to correct a painful limp due to uneven bone growth in her left leg. She is healing well! Her exercise should be restricted in the coming weeks, and DCHS will provide pain and stress medication to help her heal until she can see her new vet to keep her on a path of good health!

Weight: ~22 lbs

Adoption fee: $325 + tax
