Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Paul “Paulie” McCartney, one of four brothers from our “The Beatles” litter. These boys really are the Fab Four! Super friendly and absolutely adorable, it’s pretty much inevitable that anyone who meets them will fall in love with them. One of the brothers ran up to his now-foster mom at the shelter, hugged her and wouldn’t let go. She became an instant fan and took all four boys home with her.
Paulie is an almost 4-month-old hound mix with the cutest little personality. He’s friendly and confident, but also easygoing and independent. He likes to do his own thing. You’ll often find him enthusiastically chewing a bone while his brothers are off gallivanting somewhere in the yard.
Spending some of his formative months at the shelter has made him into a pretty chill dog. He likes the bigger dogs in his foster home but unlike most puppies, he plays it cool around his elders. He prefers to save his kisses for his humans. And when it’s time to nap, he knows the drill … it’s time to chill!
When Paulie and his brothers are relaxing, they love to stretch all the way out and sploot like little frogs. When it’s playtime, they love to find the nearest toy and carry it around proudly, even if it’s about as big as they are!
Paulie weighs about 20 lbs at almost four months old. We predict he’ll be a nice medium size when full grown, maybe around 50 lbs, give or take.
Love isn’t all Paulie needs, but he would prefer a forever home where there’s lots of it! He really enjoys giving and receiving affection. A home with a fenced yard and a doggy and/or human sibling would be an added bonus, but also not a requirement. Paulie has just started potty training and crate training, and he’s looking for a forever family with the time to help him become the best boy he can be!
