My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mingo!

Introducing Mingo, a spirited 3-year-old pit mix with a heart full of love and a unique twist—he's deaf! This clever pup has already mastered several sign language commands, showcasing his intelligence and eagerness to learn. Mingo was rescued from a Florida shelter to help make room for dogs displaced by hurricanes, and now he’s ready to find his forever home.

Mingo is neutered, vaccinated, wormed, and microchipped, plus he’s heartworm negative and on preventative, ensuring he’s in great health. He would thrive as the only dog in a household, where he can receive all the attention and love he craves. An active family that enjoys playtime and outdoor adventures will be the perfect match for this lively boy!

The adoption fee for Mingo is $150, and he is adoptable within 5 hours of Granbury, TX. To bring Mingo into your life, please submit an application, including proof of heartworm preventative for any current or past dogs. Applications can be found at www.scftx.org/adopt . Give Mingo the loving home he deserves and watch him flourish!
