My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gentle soul was found wondering the streets when rescued. His super friendly playful personality would make a excellent addition to any young active family. Being food-motivated he's easily trainable and would make a great pet to bring to almost any social event. We are looking to place him with a family that has a secure yard to keep him active when at home but open to any persons with unique alterative situation. **WARNIG** once you meet him in person you WILL fall in love!!

Go meet their pets

Many of the animals offered for adoption by the City are boarded at local veterinarian offices. If you are interested in a particular animal, please contact us to arrange to meet the animal. Typically, animal visiting hours and adoptions occur during normal business hours. Call David Hernandez at (805) 684-5405 ext. 418.

More about this shelter

We are a local municipality that offers Animal Care and Control Services to the City of Carpinteria. On occasion, the City will pick up a stray animal and rather than transport the animal to a shelter facility outside of our area we work with local veterinarians, will house the animal and try to find a permanent home. We have had great success finding new families for our adoptable animals.
