A lovable and quirky pup who was found as a stray on 9/23/24 by Pappy`s Smokehouse! He may not be the brightest crayon in the box, but he sure is full of character! Odie`s antics are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. For instance, when his kennel door was slightly open, he was more interested in barking and jumping at the window instead of noticing the open door. Despite his initial nervousness, especially around new people and loud noises, Odie has a special bond with males and feels more comfortable with them.
Odie`s playful side shines when he`s around his favorite people. He loves to sit between his chosen person`s legs and soak up some good rubs, showing his affectionate side. While he may be a bit wary at first, especially with quick movements, he warms up with patience and gentle handling. Odie walks well on a leash and is completely oblivious to cats, making him an easy companion for walks and adventures.
Given his nervousness around loud noises and quick movements, a home without young kids would be ideal for Odie. He needs a calm and understanding environment where he can feel safe and loved. If you`re looking for a unique and endearing companion, Odie might just be the perfect addition to your family.
Odie had a blast when he met Charlie! As soon as he saw Charlie, Odie turned into a happy, bouncy puppy, eager to play. Within minutes, they were off-leash and having the time of their lives together.
