Hello from me, Big Jim, in Puerto Rico!!!!
I am such a cool dog: I LOVE all people, kids, and get along with cats. When I first see a dog, while my tail wags, we get to sniff each other and then start to play! But, if the dog approaches me fast, I really get in his mug to show him not to mess with Big Jim. But, my people say "Calm down, big guy", and my tail continues to wag while we sniff each other out. Then, we are friends. :) You can see my other foster brother, Carl, in one of the pictures and we liked to high five each other. He's cool.
Anyway, I am soooo fun! I love to go on car rides and adventures. My favorite toys are the ones that are soft and squishy. I like to bury my bones (even in the houseplants!) :), and I DANCE and HIGH FIVE my people, because they think it's super funny. I'm house trained and hold my bladder during the night while sleeping in a large playpen. I'm extremely quiet and respectful of the humans sleeping, but I do get excited when I see lightning (I'm not scared of it, it's just exciting!). I am working on leash training, because I really like to pull and I'm still learning recall, so my fosters don't let me off-leash yet. But, they run with me so I like that!
I am 1-2 yrs. old, as estimated by the vet, and I've been sterilized and up to date on my shots, so my new family will be able to jump right in and enjoy life with a great pup like me. My adoption fee will cover transporting me to an airport close to you, so if you are interested apply early!
