This independent lady is Tabitha. Tabitha was found as an original stray, so she`s used to fending for herself. You`ll find she has a bit of a cat-ti-tude. What can we say, she`s the boss and that`s OK! Tabitha would prefer a home as the only pet, along with adults only. If you enjoy the company of cats who prefer to do their own `thing` this pretty girl may just be the cat for you! If you`re interested in adopting Tabitha, please fill out a cat adoption application and speak directly to our feline staff.

Tabitha`s adoption fee includes:
Massachusetts Health Certificate
Spay/neuter surgery
Rabies vaccine for kittens over 3 months of age
1st FVRCP vaccine
1st deworming
Testing for Heartworm, FIV, and FLV
ID Microchip
Flea treatment including the use of Advantage monthly preventative
Ear cleaning, bathing, nail trimming, and other necessary grooming

Submit Application

Either submit an application in advance of visiting or upon your visit. Staff will approve your application as quickly as possible.

2.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Meet with pets that are a potential to be your new family member. (This can be done prior to your application being approved.)

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once you have found the right match staff will go over all the information you may need to help make the adoption successful.

BHS Adoption Hours:

Monday: Closed
Tuesday and Thursday: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Sunday Afternoon: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Closed to the public at Noon on the last Wednesday of every month.
