Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, my name is Chocolate, I am a super handsome young pup around a year old and weigh 59 pounds. I am very hopeful that you will be my new best friend and forever home!
I am a very good boy who is playful, attentive and I have a silly side to me which always makes everyone around me smile. I have a goofy, puppyish energy about me and I love to run around and explore when I'm outside.
I am very eager to please and I love to be close to you, I'll happily lean into you when you cuddle me. I would benefit from some basic obedience training but have been told I am highly trainable by the nice volunteers at the rescue. I am a very smart boy who wants to learn and please you. An active home with lots of walks and room to run would be perfect for me and where any children are at least 4 years old. If you are looking for a fun, loving, and loyal companion, look no further, I am right here!
I would love another nice doggy sibling if you have one, I have a loose, full body wag with a playful approach to other dogs. I have an “all in” goofy, soft playstyle.
If you are interested in Chocolate and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!
*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
