Delia is the sweetest bug eyed kitten. She loves attention and is very affectionate to everyone she meets. She eagerly weaves between your legs and will meow at your feet for attention. You'll fall in love with her raspy meow. This soft girl loves to roll over and have her tummy scratched, which is unlike any cat I've met but very endearing. She's very energetic and wants to play every second of the day, but she sleeps well through the night and likes to stay close and cuddle.

Hello, I'm Delia. I'm a kitten, a bit shy but gentle and playful. I arrived at the shelter in the most magical way. One day, while exploring a garden, I stumbled upon a hidden portal that led me here. I'm independent, so I adapted quickly. I've made friends, and we share amazing adventures. But, I dream of a home where I can curl up on a cozy lap, play with soft toys, and bask in the love of a family. Submit Application

If you see an animal you would like to meet, complete our online application. You will receive an email with the next steps.

2.
Meet the Pet

Visit the facility where the animal is located. If in foster care, the foster will set up a time to meet with you.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

One of our adoption counselors will review the animal's medical history and walk you through the paperwork.

4.
Pay Fee

Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchip.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once the adoption process is complete, you can bring your furry friend home!

Our mission is to provide the programs and services needed to eliminate the killing of at-risk animals due to lack of space, adopter or foster.

San Antonio Pets Alive! is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Due to alarming euthanasia rates, San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA!) was founded in 2012. SAPA! is unique—it is the only high paced, high-volume rescue in San Antonio, saving 6,000 at-risk cats and dogs annually.

Since its inception, SAPA! has saved more than 47,000 dogs and cats. SAPA! provides safety nets for the dogs and cats that fall through the cracks of all other lifesaving options and end up on the euthanasia lists, often with just hours to be saved. SAPA! promotes the availability of these dogs and cats to other rescues, adopters and fosters.
