"Meet Phoebe, a sweet and spunky 2-year-old Chihuahua and Miniature Pinscher mix, ready to find her forever home! This little bundle of energy loves nothing more than snuggling up with her foster mom. Although crate trained, she much prefers burrowing under the covers for a cozy nap. When she’s not snoozing, Phoebe is full of life and curiosity, sprinting around the yard with her long legs and checking in on everything that’s happening, both inside and out. She’s always in the middle of the action and wants to be where the fun is!

Though she’s still perfecting her leash skills, Phoebe is a good girl who rarely pulls, except when she gets excited to spot other dogs, bunnies or people. She’s treat-motivated, loves her stuffy toys, and is eager to learn commands like “paw,” “stay,” and “lay down.” Because she plays hard, she may not be the best fit for homes with small children. She can be shy around men at first but warms up quickly with patience (and treats!).

Phoebe would thrive in an active home where she isn’t left alone for long periods and can enjoy plenty of outdoor adventures. If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion with a big personality in a small package, Phoebe might just be your perfect match!"
