Howdy folks! Allow me to introduce myself...I am Max, an 8 year old 9 lb shipoo---what is a shipoo you ask? Well a shihpoo is a mix between a poodle and a shih tzu ....making me SUPER smart ( the poodle side) and SUPER cute ( the shih tzu side). My pictures don't do me justice since I had to be shaved down I was so full of mats when I first came to FCCR. But no worries -it will grow back. What wont grow back are my toofies aka teeth- all but 3 had to be removed they were soooooo bad- obviously my former owner had no idea what a veterinary dental cleaning was! Anyways...that's all behind me now and I am ready for a new beginning and a bright future! I get along great with other dogs and welcome a playmate/companion since I don't like to be alone or sleep alone. I'm super loving once I know you and that usually takes like all of 5 minutes LOL. Foster mommy says I am a goofy boy as I love to scratch myself on the grass and then run around the yard like a little mad man. Hey what can I say? I just am happppppppyyyyy! If interested in adopting me please fill out an application at www.floridacockerrescue.org ADOPTION FEE: $325.00

More about this rescue
Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip.
FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
