Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi everyone, my name is Amber, and I was recently taken into the rescue with two other buns when we were confiscated as part of a cruelty case. There were about 20 of us living outside with no food or water and running into traffic. It seems the home had been abandoned and we were left on our own. We were also living among chickens and roosters. Thankfully, between multiple rescues all of us found placement.
Since there were multiple genders living together, I was immediately spayed and thankfully I was not pregnant. I did have some small wounds from bites or maybe even pecking from the chickens or roosters and some ear mites. All that has now been cleaned and healed. The vet believes I am a young bun of no more than a year of age so hopefully I have a nice long life to forget about my horrible beginning.
I am the most beautiful orange color and am very sweet for all I have been through. Since I have been spayed, I am now learning how to use a litterbox and my foster mom says I am picking it up rather quickly. Since I previously lived outside this is all new to me. I absolutely LOVE soft blankets and beds. I stretch out fully and kick my back feet out. This indoor living is wonderful!!!
I am eating a proper diet of Oxbow Adult Timothy Pellets, lots of timothy hay which I really enjoy, a big bowl of fresh water and daily salads. Please do not forget my weekly treats of things like banana, apple and carrots. In moderation of course.
I may be a great bonding candidate for any neutered males searching for a friend, especially since I am so used to other buns.
Would you open your heart and home to a sweet little lady like me?

More about this rescue
After fostering for over 20 years I decided it was time to open my own rescue. Bunnies are intelligent caring sensitive creatures who blossom in the right environment. They have much more spunk and personality than most people realize . You will be a convert once you have the chance to experience first hand how wonderful a compainon they can be.
