My name is Max (24-143 D)!

Meet Max, your new best friend! This sweet and playful 1-year-old pup is bursting with personality and charm. Max absolutely loves toys, meeting new people, and going on long walks where he can explore the world around him. 

Max is a quick learner! He’s eager to please and thrives on praise (and treats!), making him a dream to train. He’s already potty trained, kennel trained, and knows commands like sit, down, and come. With his sharp mind and love of learning, he’d shine in a home that keeps him engaged with new tricks, fun activities, or even a dog sport like agility.

Max is the perfect mix of well-mannered and fun-loving—old enough to have good behavior but still young enough to embrace every adventure with tail-wagging enthusiasm. His love for a routine and his silly antics are sure to keep you smiling every single day. Max came to Michigan from North Carolina following the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. He's fully embraced the Mitten lifestyle and loves to play (and eat!) the snow, jump into the water, hit the trails, and happens to look great in both Spartan Green or Maize & Blue!

While Max adores his humans, he’s best suited for a home without small children or other small pets like cats, as his playful spirit can lead to some enthusiastic games of chase. He loves to romp around with his furry foster siblings and he would be equally happy becoming a fur-sibling to your dog, or being just the solo star of the show.
