My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bear is a lovable 7-year-old mixed breed who came to DHS because his owners new work schedule left him home alone with no one to care for him. Bear has lived his life outside, so he will need patience and understanding to help him adjust to indoor living. He is a great size, short and stocky, but weighs only about 40lbs.
Bear does well sticking around with his humans but while they are away, he has been in an outdoor kennel. Bear has few trips in the car, but didn't seem overly stressed by it. Bear does need to be the only dog in the home, and he has not been cat-tested. Bear would love a comfy couch to call his own while he enters into his senior years! Bear enjoys his walks here at DHS, but would prefer a country-living home instead of the busyness of city living.
