What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I adopted Scooby in April of 2022 from the Newport News SPCA. We estimate he was born around January of 2021.
Scooby is pretty high energy. His preferred games are fetch and tug. I believe Scooby would do best with someone who has a closed in yard or other space he can run solo.
Scooby has never met a person he doesn't love.
He does bark and pull on the leash when around other animals (dogs and cats). He should either go to a single pet household or to somebody who's very experienced working with dogs that don't get along with other animals.
Due to not getting along, I've had to isolate Scooby from my cat since adopting him, which meant I haven't been able to provide the attention level that I want to either of them. Scooby's a good dog, but I just can't keep living with them separated.
