My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Toby is a large German Shepherd with a presence.  He is social but very alert to strangers and people he is unfamiliar with.  He seems ok around most dogs but can be dominant with other male dogs.

Toby is around 2 years old.  He is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped and has been wormed.  He is around 75 lbs BUT needs to gain a few more pounds.

Anyone with interest in Toby must stop in to meet him and complete an application.  He must meet any dog that you currently have.  We do not know how he is with children or cats.

More about this shelter

We are the Morrow County Dog Shelter, operated by the county.
Our shelter houses stray and homeless dogs from our county. We are a small shelter with an annual intake between 250-400 dogs. Some of our available dogs go through a prison training program if they qualify.
Our adoption fee includes all basic vet care and it is completed before a dog goes to his/her new home. An adoption application is necessary for all dogs prior to an adopter being chosen.
