My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oliver is a young Staffy mix, best guess he is around 8 months old. He is stout and full of confidence. He is reactive to other dogs BUT also is in dire need of proper training. He will walk ok on leash once he is away from all of the excitement of the kennel. He turns into a squishy lovey boy when he gets one on one attention from our staff and volunteers.

He is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, been wormed, and is microchipped.

He will need a strong and understanding handler that will provide basic obedience instruction and proper dog to dog introductions.

Adoption fee of $200 and includes vaccinations, rabies vaccination, worming, spay/neuter with pain injection after surgery, heartworm test for dogs over 6 months, microchip and a County Dog License.

We are the Morrow County Dog Shelter, operated by the county.
Our shelter houses stray and homeless dogs from our county. We are a small shelter with an annual intake between 250-400 dogs. Some of our available dogs go through a prison training program if they qualify.
Our adoption fee includes all basic vet care and it is completed before a dog goes to his/her new home. An adoption application is necessary for all dogs prior to an adopter being chosen.
