My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clyde is a sweet, gentle hound mix that loves everyone.  He is around 60 lbs and is 3 yrs old.  He lived with other dogs prior to arriving with us and we were told he had been around some children and did ok.  It is unknown how he is with cats.

Clyde loves to go for walks and loves the attention that our staff and volunteers give him.  We were told he was housetrained, but with all shelter dogs we suspect he may have an accident or 2 in his new home.  He does know some basic obedience.

Clyde is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, been wormed and is microchipped.

Anyone with interest in Clyde should stop in to meet him and complete an application to be considered.  He must meet any dog you currently have before adoption is approved.

More about this shelter

We are the Morrow County Dog Shelter, operated by the county.
Our shelter houses stray and homeless dogs from our county. We are a small shelter with an annual intake between 250-400 dogs. Some of our available dogs go through a prison training program if they qualify.
Our adoption fee includes all basic vet care and it is completed before a dog goes to his/her new home. An adoption application is necessary for all dogs prior to an adopter being chosen.
