Hi, my name is Ozzy! I am a 3 year old Dachshund with blue eyes. I am adorable. I got brought to the rescue because my previous owner lost her job, and could not afford to care for me anymore. I love it here at the rescue. I get to play outside with all the other dogs. I love to play with my squeaky toys too. I am looking for a new forever home where someone can love me forever. I am leash trained, crate trained, house trained, and know how to sit for treats. I am up to date on all shots and medical. I am microchipped, neutered, and dewormed. We are a private run facility supported by public donations. The first step to adopt is to submit an application on richardsonrescue.org. We review them everyday, except for Sunday (Great customer service is our goal). Once your application is approved, you may then call for an appointment.

VISITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION.

More about this rescue

Nestled in twelve acres of country and woods is a place for animals that are hardest to help, BIGGER dogs, abused pets and puppy mill dogs. They need more time, more space and more love than many full rescues can provide. Their adoptions sometimes take months, but they get the room and attention that they need to get back on all four feet. The problem.... not many people are willing to give them a chance. We also offer low cost spay and neutering when funding allows.
