This girl has a spunky little attitude, she is learning how to play and has a cute little bounce that makes you giggle every time. She has conquered the commands such as sit, lay down and her foster mom is currently working on the stay command.

This little lady does have energy and a happy little bark so a back yard so she can play and free poop ( she prefers to poop off leash ) would be great for her. Children 6 and over would be best as she can be a little playful and we wouldn't want a little one pushed over.

She does have cues to tell you when she needs to go outside but if you miss them she may have the odd accident. She is good in her crate and travels well!
She is a puller on leash which her foster mom is working on and she does get very interested In the squirrels around her home and would chase given the opportunity. She is quite stunning and everyone who see's her mentions it but she picks a person and bonds quickly. She is good with being brushed and will need it with the beautiful coat she has. Dog savy cats would be fine but if they run she would chase but does correct well.

Leila really has a zest for life and would love her very own person to go on some cool adventures with.

If you feel you would be the right fit for Leila, please fill out an adoption application at https://www.allpawsmatter.ca/apply-to-adopt/

All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety.

NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed.

BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!

More about this rescue

At All Paws Matter Dog Rescue along with our sister rescue SOS el Arca, we are determined to save as many broken, abused, abandoned to die and neglected street and shelter dogs in Canada and Mexico as we can. Motivated by a deep love of our 4 legged friends, our mandate is to save and improve as many lives as possible. We have seen many tragedies and have witnessed the most horrible cruelties, but we know working together we can make a significance difference. Raising the awareness of the importance of spaying and neutering our 4 legged friends and through the love and support of our wonderful volunteers, supporters and adopters our hope is to rescue, heal and successfully rehome as many of these deserving souls as possible.
